impact lab Mentorship program

Mentoring Program

The Impact Lab Mentorship Program is a flagship program of the Impact Lab Alumni Network Committee (the Alumni Committe). It aims to connect Impact Lab alumni and professionals with students and recent graduates to provide career guidance, share knowledge and experience, and shape the future of the Impact Lab community. The Impact Lab Mentorship Program is a valuable opportunity that allows Impact Lab Alumni to hone their leadership and communication skills, build their network, and learn about other organisations and industries through their mentees.

Mentor
2025 Fall
Software Engineer at OKX

“My mentees often asked insightful questions about career development and the job market, and I was glad to review their CVs and support their transition into the professional world. In return, I gained new perspectives—it was a nice experience."

Giselle Zhang

Mentee
2025 Fall

"My mentor supported me in many meaningful ways. As a Year 1 student often uncertain about my future, he reassured me that it’s normal to feel this way and encouraged me to enjoy each stage of life for its lessons. He shared practical advice on managing time, staying organized, and balancing studies with personal goals. His patience, honesty, and thoughtful guidance helped me feel more confident and better prepared for the challenges ahead, giving me a clearer sense of direction for my own journey."
